The Logan Project is led by Senior Constable Glenn Compain who is assisted by youth support worker Andrew Petaia.

Based at the Crestmead PCYC, Logan Booyah participants attend every Tuesday and Thursday over the duration of a 6 month intensive program. This is then followed by a further 18 month program to ensure each young person achieves success well into the future. We have a maximum of 10 participants in each cohort to provide mentoring, encouragement and support catered to each individuals needs ensuring they can re-engaging with their community, education and/or work.

During the course of the program the participants will undertake Project Booyah’s nationally recognised RESPECT program as well as obtaining a nationally recognised Vocation Certificate. They will also gain practical experience within our industrial grade onsite kitchen and various work experience opportunities.

Adventure based learning provides an opportunity for participants to build confidence, increase self-esteem, promote team work and individual leadership. Some of the activities that we undertake at Logan Booyah are abseiling, high ropes, kayaking, fishing, bush walking and mountain biking. At Logan we also undertake programs such as fitness and boxing classes, Street Art workshops, Career Days, hands on Building and Construction Workshops, Australian Defence Force barrack visits plus many more.

If you would like to refer a young person to the program in LOGAN and surrounding areas, or want any more information at a local level, please click on the “REFER NOW” link on this website, and one of our Project Booyah staff members will contact you.
